Subscription Tiers
We offer three primary tiers to meet different needs:
Free
$0 / Month
Prototyping and small-scale personal projects.
Pro
Fixed Monthly
Small to medium fleets requiring predictable costs and higher resource limits.
Flexible
Pay-As-You-Go
Large-scale operations that need to scale resources up and down dynamically.
How Billing Works
AdaTrack integrates with Stripe to provide secure, automated billing and subscription management.
1. Fixed Billing (Pro Tier)
On a fixed plan, you pay a set monthly fee for a generous allocation of resources (Devices, Geofences, Reports). You are billed at the start of each billing cycle.
2. Usage-Based Billing (Flexible Tier)
The Flexible tier consists of a low base monthly fee plus metered charges for your actual consumption. This is ideal for fleets where the number of active devices fluctuates. Metered resources include:
Active Devices: Billed per device per month.
Data Processing: Billed per MB or per 1,000 packets.
Workflow Executions: Billed per 1,000 runs.
Managing your Subscription
You can manage your plan directly from the Billing section in your account settings:
Upgrade/Downgrade: Switch between tiers at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades typically take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
Payment Methods: Securely add or update your credit card and billing address via the Stripe Customer Portal.
Invoice History: View and download your historical invoices and payment receipts.
Usage Summary: Monitor your current resource consumption against your tier's limits in real-time.
Failed Payments
If a recurring payment fails:
AdaTrack will notify you via email.
Stripe will automatically retry the payment several times over the following days.
If the payment remains unpaid, your account may be downgraded to the Free tier, or access to certain features may be restricted until the balance is settled.
Self-Hosted Billing
For Self-Hosted deployments, the billing module is typically disabled or bypassed. You have unlimited access to the platform's features without recurring charges from AdaTrack. Refer to the Self-hosted Deployment guide for more details.
